Strong and Kind: And Other Important Character Traits Your Child Needs to Succeed
I am always so excited when I see another Robertson book has been published! And of course I am delighted that I get to read and review it before it even comes out in book stores!
When I saw Strong and Kind available to review, I grabbed it up immediately!
I began reading it one evening and nearly finished it in one sitting- it was that good!
Of course, I hope to reread it more slowly and thoughtfully, but initially I love to just devour good books. I was still able to glean so much from the chapters of this book. And me not even a parent! The lessons I learned were wonderful for me as an older sibling as well as me as a person. Seriously- many of the thoughts and wisdom in this book were enough to make me chide myself for my disrespect and unloving attitudes towards my elders and friends! So, my conclusion is that whether you are a parent or not, this book will definitely help you!

For parents, I highly, highly recommend this book. The authors are both firm and kind in their advice. They understand parenthood and they understand children and love them for who they are. But they also know from experience how to raise children to become mature, responsible adults and therefore parents should trust the Biblical advice they present in this new book!
